Just being there was a treat for a nature lover! As we approached the second zipline on the property a young doe was grazing about 15 yards away. The property is beautiful with rolling forested hills, caves, and ravines. Soaring Cliffs is located on a secluded road but very near the Cantwell Cliffs at Hocking Hills State Park. Maybe next time! :-) We can't wait to do it again! Laken & Tim are so relaxed while zipping they were encouraging us to try some of their acrobatics, but we weren't quite that brave. We're in our mid-50s and had no problem navigating the trails and zip lines. They didn't let down a bit, and even treated us to a few extra runs on the zip lines! It was a great time, and the campfire in the cave with hot dogs and s'mores was a fun little break we weren't expecting. So we had our guides to ourselves for a portion of the trip. We were in a party of 5, but three from our group left mid-way through. Laken knew a lot about the local flora and geological formations. They were funny, informative and, most of all, made us feel very relaxed about our adventure. I know they do this over and over again every day, but you'd never know it. It was so great to be with folks who really seemed to love their work. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but I highly recommend the staff and facilities at Soaring Cliffs! We arrived without an appointment on a weekday morning, and they were able to take us in right away. This was our first time on a major zip line course, except for one short one on a cruise ship.
